The Shallotte Junior Woman’s Club is a non-profit community service organization. In existence since 1973, the Club is comprised of women from the South Brunswick Islands area. Our common bond is simply a commitment to making our community a better place to live.
Our club is an affiliate organization of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, one of the World’s largest and oldest nondenominational, nonpartisan, international volunteer service organization of women. In 2002, GFWC of North Carolina celebrated 100 years of volunteerism.
The sole fundraiser for our club is the annual Shallotte Junior Woman’s Club Charity Bash. Proceeds from this event are used to support the many community service projects we complete throughout the year.
General Membership Meetings are held the first Monday of every month from September to May. A new member social is held before the club year begins in August.
